Power Healing Class Takes Over

Tonight's Power Healing session became a do-it-yourself course when the instructor failed to appear. Some of the experienced students took over and led the evening. Was good outcome in that we practiced and did some healing on each other.

Guess the teacher was doing a remote learning variation this time around.

On the Road and Qigong

Was away for over a week, but managed to do some practice nearly everyday. It helped stabilize me given the stresses I experienced that was brought on by travel. It really made a difference over not having anything else to fall back on when I was feeling dissociated.

Also helped ground me after my return--smoothed out the reentry process.

Power Healing Class Begins

Very grounded instructor. Good energy. Covered some preliminary moves--rowing the boat, casting the net, swallow pose, and awakening the energy channels. Also did a meditation and a healing session.

I volunteered to be the healee. The class focused on my upper right arm and the tension that has been there that has been causing a tremor on my right side. They disappeared it; I disappeared the tension and the tremor. It just went away last night. Today, it keeps reactivating, but not as strongly as before and I can recall the healing session and make it subside. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Have a full class. Know two people in the class--one from previous Qigong session and L, Jon's friend.

Too bad I have to miss next week's class. Will try and not miss more than that. The practice seems like a key to what I've been chasing for the past year. Open Sesame!

Also have a bit of balancing act to develop so that I continue the practice learned previously and add on this new material. Doing one in the morning and the other later in the day looks like a solution.

Also have next week's trip, which will require some focus in order to continue both sets of movements. Schuu-ee joe (the healing sounds used by the group to move the energy from my arm to my lower Dan Tian). They were using the near hand/far hand healing technique. It worked!

Daily Practice

Now, without a class in session, it becomes important to practice daily. In doing so, I've noted the freeing up of energy that results--the shift of focus before and after practice. I've added some yoga each day as well to help with weight-bearing actions. Qigong is soft movements and my upper body appears to need some weight-bearing exercises.

Signed up for the Power Healing class. It begins next Monday. Looking forward to learning more.

Will be interesting to see what happens when I start traveling--in terms of maintaining my practice. The intention is to maintain. Maintain and not fall back in terms of what I've gained.
